MANILA – President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, Jr. will host a program in Malacañan Palace on Tuesday to welcome the Filipino athletes who participated in the Paris Olympics headed by double gold medalist in artistic gymnastics Carlos Yulo.

Team Philippines will arrive at Villamor Airbase in Pasay City first on the same date, where they will be welcomed by their families, according to the Presidential Communications Office.

According to the Philippines' Republic Act 10699 or the National Athletes and Coaches Benefits and Incentives Act, gold medalists in international sports competitions shall receive P10 million from the government, silver medalists are entitled to P5 million, while bronze medalists will get P2 million.
