Over 55,000 pass March 2025 board exam for elementary, secondary teachers

MANILA — The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Friday that 16,282 elementary teachers out of 34,819 examinees and 38,747 secondary teachers out of 62,225 examinees passed the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers given March 2025.

Jamaema Hiluano Mustapha of Mindanao State University (Maigo Sat) and Raeiden Mogammad Pango of Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology tied for first place for the elementary level with a rating of 94.60 percent.

Nikhar Mae Besar Alegria of MSU-General Santos City placed second with 94.20 percent, while Lorijan Francis Magelon Santiago of Visayas State University-Baybay placed third with 94 percent.

For the secondary level, Jeanlyn Gunita Colipano of Cebu Technological University-Danao topped the exam with a rating of 93.80 percent.

Sofia Cueto Atienza of the UNiversity of the Philippines Diliman, Floyd Dumandan Bandalan of the University of Mindanao-Tagum, Leejane Planas Cogollodo of the University of Mindanao-Panabo and John Reynor Betito Pionilla of UP Los Baños tied for second place with a rating of 93.60 percent.

Jemima Keziah Natividad Castro of Davao De Oro State College and Irene Fe Cabual Navea of the University of Mindanao-Tagum, on the other hand, tied for third place with a rating of 93.40 percent.

Here is the list of the top 10 examinees with the highest ratings for the elementary level and the secondary level.
