MANILA — The families of the victims of a multiple vehicle collision on the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) last May 1 have filed civil complaints against bus operator Solid North Inc, its president, and the bus driver on Friday, seeking a total of P130 million in damages.

The driver of the bus, who earlier admitted to falling asleep behind the wheel, has been charged with reckless imprudence resulting in multiple homicide, physical injuries and damage to property.

Una na niyang pinataas ang insurance ng coverage ng mga PUV (public utility vehicle), kasama ang mga bus para ipantay sa private vehicle. Ginagawa na po natin yan ngayon,” he added.
