The pair shared they wanted to marry so they could be good role models for their 3-year-old son.

“We wanted to get married for a long time now, but the budget was a problem. It is better to get married now, so our kid won’t wonder why we never got married, he will ask. It is really for his future,” Argales said.

In lieu of wedding bands, the couples were also given smart rings designed to help monitor their health metrics including heart rate, heart rate variability, and average oxygen saturation.
