RBonney Gabriel is "still on a high" after co-hosting the recently concluded Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) 2024 pageant at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

The former Miss Universe impressed audiences with her hosting skills during the coronation night, where she wore four looks inspired by her Filipino and American roots.

"Still on a high from hosting my biggest event to date and it was so much fun," she said in an Instagram post.

Gabriel also thanked God and the MUPH team led by Jonas Gaffud for the opportunity to co-host the event.

Emmy Award-winning TV personality Jeannie Mai, who was also tapped to lead the MUPH coronation night, also took to Instagram to share her thoughts about her latest hosting stint.

"I love the Philippines," she began, thanking MUPH "for allowing me to be a part of this global festival of culture, beauty, and inspiration."

"The Miss Universe pageant is more than an event; it's a highlight of the year -- a celebration of dreams and aspirations that resonate across borders," added Mai, who also co-hosted last year's Miss Universe pageant in El Salvador.

Gabriel and Mai joined local personalities Alden Richards, Gabbi Garcia, and Tim Yap as the hosts of the MUPH 2024 coronation night.

Chelsea Manalo of Bulacan was chosen to represent the Philippines in the upcoming Miss Universe competition, succeeding Michelle Dee who finished in the Top 10 last year.
