In a Facebook post, Nectar cited the upcoming closure of The Fort as a reason for its own closure starting January 2025.

“Nectar Nightclub will be closing its doors at the end of the year. Due to The Fort’s upcoming closure, our final night of operation will be December 31st,” Nectar said in the post.

However, the club said it had begun planning its "next chapter" called "Nectar 3.0." Management did not give details.

Nectar expressed gratitude to its customers, especially the LGBT community, who treated the place as their second home.
