On Instagram, Disney+ Philippines said the pair would lead the cast of "Knock Off," described as a "thrilling new drama series exploring the shady world of counterfeit goods."

Soo-hyun will portray an office worker whose life is drastically altered by the 1997 Asian financial crisis, which leads him into the world of counterfeit goods, while Bo-ah plays his ex-girlfriend who is a police officer dedicated to combating counterfeit markets, according to reports.

Disney+ has not given a specific premiere date for the series.

Earlier this year, Soo-hyun garnered widespread attention for his portrayal of a legal director from humble roots who marries into a conglomerate family in the hit romance series "Queen of Tears."

His other notable series include "My Love from the Star," "The Producers," and "It's Okay to Not Be Okay."

Bo-ah, meanwhile, is known for dramas such as "Tale of the Nine Tailed," "Military Prosecutor Doberman" and "Destined With You."
