MANILA -- Paulina, the daughter of Vic Sotto, revealed on social media that she and her husband, Jed Llanes, have separated.

In a post on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Paulina made the statement to clear all confusion related to her earlier social media post about her new life as a single mother.

"To clear out any confusion: Yes we are separated. This is the last thing I ever wanted for our family, but there are things that cannot be undone. Very thankful for all the love and support," Paulina wrote.

Last week, Paulina said in an Instagram post that she is now a single mother -- seven years after she got married.

"Navigating a new life chapter as a single mom. It's been a crazy last few weeks with lots of ups and downs, but life goes on. Thankful for what the past 10 years have given me—my beautiful daughter. Now onto better things," Paulina shared.

Paulina married her non-showbiz husband in January 2017. They welcomed their daughter, Sachi Brielle, on September 7, 2020

Paulina is Sotto's daughter from Angela Luz. She is the granddaughter of the late National Artist for Visual Arts Arturo Luz.
