The afternoon drama “Pamilya Ko” soared to its highest viewership yet on Wednesday as secrets unraveled and threatened to tear apart the Magbunga family.
The November 6 episode of “Pamilya Ko” registered a nationwide rating of 23.5% while its rival program only got 17.7%, according to data from Kantar Media.
In the episode, Chico (JM de Guzman) confronted his parents, Fernan (Joey Marquez) and Luz (Sylvia Sanchez), after discovering that the latter is not his biological mother.
Chico, who has long felt he is neglected and less loved by Luz, said he finally understood why that was the case.
Chico’s biological mother, Elena (Rosanna Roces), meanwhile also confirmed with Fernan that their past relationship did produce a child, prompting her to reach out to Chico.
