A newly cut sizzle reel for "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker", the ninth film in the Star Wars series, has earned plenty of buzz and concern after it showed fan favorite character Rey wearing a black cloak and brandishing a double-bladed red lightsaber.

The sizzle reel, which was first shown at the D23 Expo, hints at a possible turn for Rey into the Dark Side. The last character to wield a double-bladed red lightsaber was the Sith lord Darth Maul.
