Pia Wurtzbach has no complaints over Liza Soberano's portrayal of her for a "Maalaala Mo Kaya" episode chronicling the hardships she went through before she won the 2015 Miss Universe pageant.

In describing the upcoming feature, Wurtzbach said: "I am so excited to share this with you guys! I've never told my life story this way ever before. The most open I've ever been!"

The beauty queen also praised Soberano before adding that the young actress wore her original Miss Universe sash for the part. "Sobrang ganda mo, Liza! Pang Miss Universe talaga," Wurtzbach gushed.

Wurtzbach is the country's first Miss Universe title-holder in more than four decades. She represented the country in the global beauty contest after her third attempt in joining the Binibining Pilipinas pageant.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News' MJ Felipe, Soberano acknowledged that she broke down while taping the episode.

"I don't like it when I'm unable to please myself. And I felt like I wasn't able to do [Wurtzbach's] walk properly. So I got pressured and then I started crying," she said.

Soberano managed to pull through, however, thanks to some advice she received from Wurtzbach herself: "Sabi niya, 'Kaya mo iyan.' Sabi ko naman, 'I don't know how to be as confident as you. I'm not that type of person.' "

Soberano continued: "Then sabi niya, 'No, Liza. I was never as confident as everybody thought I was before. I just gained the courage when I did Binibining Pilipinas.' So I kinda got an insight on how to portray the role."

The episode will air Saturday after "The Voice Teens."
