Government workers will have a chance to ride the MRT-3 for free from September 18-20 in celebration of the anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service.

All government workers can avail of the free MRT-3 rides during the 3-day period upon presentation of their government employee ID to station personnel.

The first MRT-3 trains leave North Avenue Station and Taft Avenue Station at 4:30 a.m. and 5:05 a.m. respectively.

“Layon ng LIBRENG SAKAY ng MRT-3 na makapaghatid ng kahit kaunting kasiyahan sa kanila na tanda ng aming pagsaludo at pasasalamat sa kanilang mga sakripisyo. Mabuhay ang mga kawani ng gobyerno!" MRT-3 General Manager Oscar B. Bongon said in a statement.
