MANILA -- Companies are pitching in to help victims of severe tropical storm Kristine.

Here's how they are gathering donations to help the neediest in the Philippines.

SM Foundation

SM Foundation is working with the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) to deliver aid to storm victims. Customers can scan a QR code or donate to the PRC's bank account to help storm victims.

By buying vouchers on the e-shopping platform, users can donate to help with relief efforts of organizations, including the ABS-CBN Foundation.

Shopee

Shoppers can also buy vouchers on Shopee from October 23 to November 6 to help groups with their relief and rebuilding initiatives for those who lost their homes in the severe tropical storm.

Globe

Using their Globe Rewards points, users can donate to the Ayala Foundation-Hapag Movement to feed communities devastated by the typhoon. They can make their donations by opening their GlobeOne app.

More than 3.3 million Filipinos have been affected by the onslaught of Kristine all over the country, with thousands still reeling from the effects of the storm.

Tropical cyclone wind signal no. 2 remains hoisted in Metro Manila and parts of Luzon early Friday even as the severe tropical storm is set to exit the Philippine area of responsibility.
