“For me, I can’t say much yet. For now, no. They’re trying, that’s for sure. My sister has a PCOS, and it would be a miracle if she has a child,” Gela said in an interview. “Well, at least my parents also are supportive for that. My sister nga kasi is at the age, turning 32 this year, medyo kailangan na din.”

On February 20, 2024 celebrity couple Ria Atayde and Zanjoe Marudo announced their engagement in an Instagram post.

“Forever sounds good 🤍💍,” Ria wrote, with a photo of herself and Zanjoe sharing a sweet moment together. She also posted another photo, zooming in on her hand wearing the engagement ring.

Zanjoe then commented, “And tastes even better ❤.”

Gela also shared her excitement in soon welcominmg Zanjoe as an official part of their family. She also shared how simple and sweet the proposal of her soon-to-be brother-in-law was.

"I love Kuya Z so much, so I was so happy that when they told me, I cried. I love how Kuya Z also proposed to her. He just did it in bed, just both of them. She just woke up, so we weren’t there," she said.

Ria and Zanjoe have known each other since working together on the ABS-CBN drama My Dear Heart in 2017.

They became good friends and later on confirmed that they were dating, following months of romance rumors surrounding the two since January 2023.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Ria also admitted that she was happy with her current relationship with the actor, whom she referred to as her best friend.

“I am very happy right now. I am in a relationship where I feel valued and where there’s so much mutual respect, mutual admiration. Very much [like part of the family], I’d say. We’ve been friends kasi for so long. Siguro last year, [we made it official in] 2022 for sure.”

The actress also admitted that she considered Zanjoe "the one."

“I feel like you don’t enter into a relationship unless you feel like there’s a chance they should be the one,” she remarked.
