Francine Diaz is celebrating her 17th birthday on Wednesday, January 27.

Ahead of her special day, the young actress was treated to a surprise by her family, friends, and fans.

Last Sunday, January 24, Francine also received a birthday surprise from the cast and crew of the variety show ASAP Natin 'To.

"Before this day ends, I just want to thank my ASAP Natin 'To family for surprising me kanina," she said in her post, which showed photos of her bouquet and birthday cake.

Francine was part of the hit afternoon drama Kadenang Ginto.

The Star Magic artist is set to star in Tenement 66, the latest film of Rae Red, director of the acclaimed Babae at Baril. She plays the role of teenage girl Lea, who connives with her neighbors—portrayed by Francis Magundayao and Noel Comia, Jr.—to rob the apartment of a man whom she also witnessed stealing.

Aside from Tenement 66, Francine will also topbill the inspirational series Huwag Kang Mangamba, alongside her "Kadenang Ginto" co-star Andrea Brillantes.

Francine portrays a rebellious daughter, while Andrea plays a blind teen in search of her mother in the show, where they will be joined by their The Gold Squad peers Seth Fedelin and Kyle Echarri, and screen veterans Eula Valdez and Sylvia Sanchez, among others.
