Hungary's capital Budapest is dealing with flooding after water levels rose in the Danube River.

Drone footage Sunday (September 22) morning showed several submerged jetties.

The Danube river was expected to peak around or slightly above 8.5 meters, with Budapest preparing for waters peaking near record levels, and has closed Margaret Island, a recreational area with hotels and restaurants.

The flood is expected to fall short of the record levels seen in 2013.
