When choosing your prom date, you would want to pick someone you truly enjoy being with, someone whom you share similar interests and great chemistry with. Remember, you two are keeping each other company during the entire prom night.

Former “Dream Maker” contender Omar Uddin thought that Misha de Leon from “Idol Philippines 2” would make an ideal prom date since they’re already friends and he wants to get to know her more. We also think their mutual passion for music makes them the perfect pair.

Omar invited Misha to a casual brunch in Tagaytay, but he actually prepared an original song about asking her to prom, a bouquet in Misha’s favorite color, and a setup with the finest view.

Our guy wasted no time after leading Misha to their table. He told her, “No’ng sinabi mo na pupunta ka rin ng prom, nag-isip ako, ‘What if si Misha kaya ‘yung i-invite ko sa prom?’ No’ng araw pa lang na ‘yun, inisip ko na agad kung ano ‘yung gagawin ko,” he told her.

He then serenaded Misha with the song he wrote specifically for this moment, titled “Yes or No.” Misha must have been so impressed, she promptly replied, “Oo naman.”

For Misha, the ‘promposal’ was truly admirable and it made her feel special, “I didn’t expect na my idol Bar Boy will ask me out to prom. Super na-a-appreciate ko rin ‘yung song and for going all out to ask me out.” She added, “I found it really sweet.”
