MANILA, Philippines – Gilas Pilipinas Women stalwarts Jack Animam and Camille Clarin, and PBA operations and business development manager Rosc Teotico will lend their expertise to the 18th Filoil EcoOil Preseason Cup starting on Sunday.

These female voices offer a refreshing take as game analysts in the premier preseason tournament which will see 17 teams from the UAAP and the NCAA begin their preparation for the upcoming collegiate season.

Animam is coming off a standout season for FCC UAV Arad in Romania where she was named as part of the Mythical First Team after leading the league in scoring and rebounding.

Now, the Bulakenya center is embracing this new challenge, stating, "Masaya ako sa opportunity na ito and excited ako to be on the other side naman ng game as one of the commentators."

Clarin, on the other hand, is a three-time UAAP champion with National University and spent the past few months as a member of Gilas Pilipinas Women 3x3.

She is recuperating from an ACL injury and will trade her jerseys for the headset for the meantime.

Teotico has worked with the PBA since 2016 after serving as the head of sports development and head coach for the women's team of her alma mater University of Asia and the Pacific.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity and hopefully, more doors continue to open for the female voice to be heard in the basketball arena as we continue to inspire others,” she said.
