SGA added more firepower to their already-loaded roster by tapping former NBA player Malachi Richardson and journeyman forward Terry Larrier to join the squad, they announced on Monday.

“We want guys who can help spread the floor for DeMarcus,” head coach Charles Tiu said, pertaining to their lineup which is bannered by former NBA star DeMarcus Cousins, naturalized Filipinos Angelo Kouame and Andray Blatche, and a solid core of local standouts.

Richardson, a 6-foot-6 shooting guard, was the 22nd overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft and has played for the Sacramento Kings and Toronto Raptors in the NBA.

After his stint in the NBA, Richardson went overseas, suiting up for clubs in Israel, Italy, Poland, Indonesia, and Mexico.

“Malachi is a great shooter, a true professional, and has shown a great attitude so far,” said Tiu. “We believe he’ll be a vital part of our success in Dubai.

Meanwhile, Larrier is a 6-foot-7 small forward from New York.

Larrier has played in the G League for teams such as San Diego and Wisconsin, and he also has an extensive international resume with stints in Sweden, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Romania, Venezuela, South Africa, and Qatar.

Joining the two reinforcements are some of the Philippines' top basketball talents, including Rhenz Abando, Dave Ildefonso, Jason Brickman, Allen Liwag, Tony Ynot, and Justine Sanchez.

SGA will be competing in the Dubai tourney which will be held from January 24 to February 2.
