MANILA - Serbian esports organization Aurora Gaming will enter MPL Philippines, while adding Mobile Legends: Bang Bang icons Johnmar “OhMyV33nus” Villaluna and Danerie James “Wise” Del Rosario under its wing.

Aurora Gaming will vacate the void Indonesian organization EVOS left after it and Minana Esports announced it would be leaving the Philippines’ official MLBB league.

“The royal duo joins our company. Let us all welcome, Ohmyv33nus and Wise Gaming,” Aurora said, without elaborating on their role in the team ahead of MPL Season 14.

MPL Philippines welcomed Aurora as its 8th franchise team ahead of the next season. No players have been officially been listed in its roster but the rumor mill suggests the likes of Edward “Edward” Jay Dapadap and Renejay “Renejay” Bacarse as prospective team members.

Speculations of the duo's involvement with Aurora fueled after OhMyV33nus’ Mobile Legends: Bang Bang stream accidentally displayed the words “Aurora V33wise” Marketing,” which made rounds on social media Monday night. The V33wise duo immediately shrugged it off, saying they were being “prank-called.”

Their former team Blacklist International saw a massive exodus as Edward, V33wise and Kenneth “Yue” Tadeo announced their exits from the team. While Renejay wasn’t announced as a team departure, he has changed his profile picture to a studio photo of him accentuated with Aurora’s colors.

Wise also commented on the post through his personal account, saying “Tara na! (Let’s go.)

Aurora’s entry to MPL Philippines comes as the official MLBB league of the Philippines bid goodbye to Minana EVOS

EVOS first entered the PH MLBB scene in 2019, acquiring the likes of coach Bonn “Bonchan” Ricaplaza, and young talents such as Salic “Hadji” Imam and Edward “Edward” Jay Dapadap.

Returning as a franchise org in MPL Philippines Season 8, it partnered with Nexplay Esports, harboring breakout talents such as Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera, Renejay “Renejay” Bacarse, John Paul “H2wo” Salonga and Sanford “SanFord” Vinuya, who have since grown as talents here and abroad.
