She’s the first voice you’ll hear in some of BINI’s most streamed singles, from “Karera” to“Pantropiko” and “Cherry on Top.” The group’s mainrapper, lead dancer, and all-around kikay princess, StaceySevilleja is sugar, spice, and everything nice—but don’t letall the pink fool you. The 21-year-old statuesque beauty fromNueva Vizcaya is undoubtedly the girliest of them all, but shealso makes a case for being one of the toughest.

“I really love rapping,” Stacey declares. “Kahit batapa ako, memorize ko lahat ng rap ng mga Pinoy. ’Yung‘Gayuma’ [by Abra ft. Thyro & Jeriko Aguilar], ‘Inspirasyon’by [Shehyee], ‘Kakaibabe’ [by Donnalyn Bartolome]... ’Yun potalaga yung naging training ko bago ako maging trainee.”That is why in the next chapters of BINI, she looks forwardto exploring a more girl crush concept. “Nag-‘Strings’ na pokami, pero gusto po talaga namin i-try na parang mala-ITZY, Blackpink... medyo may pagka-maangas.”

She’s a tough cookie, indeed—and this is reflected in herbelief that BINI should always be as frank with each otheras possible. “’Di dapat nagtatago ng hinanakit,” she says.“Sabihin right away. I think ’yun namanyung ginagawanamin—’yunyung mabuti sa amin kasi lahat kamitalagang straightforward. Walang halong sugarcoating.Lahat sinasabi namin.”

It’s important to keep this openness between themembers, and it has gotten them so far in their careers. From their days locked inside the BINI House to theircurrent success as idols, the competition has evolved intocamaraderie that has kept them very booked and very busyuntil the foreseeable future.

“Majority wins po talaga sa aming girls. Kung ano po’yung gusto ng mas marami, doon po talaga... or nag-wi-Wheel of Names kami para fair,” Stacey shares. It seemssimple enough, but these are the little things that keep BINIstronger together. Because when all’s said and done, what they have is an unbreakable life-long bond.

Wala nangkawala ’to. Forever ko nang magiging kasama sa buhayang mga girls,” she states. And that’s great news for Blooms—from OGsto casuals—who have been with Stacey and the rest of BINIon this rollercoaster journey!

While it seems like there’s no stopping BINIverse fromexpanding locally and globally, Stacey is keeping her feet onthe ground and continuing to work hard with the rest of thegroup. She tells us, “Gusto po talaga namin maging household namena kahit sinong taong tanungin naminkapitbahay mano artista ’yankilala na ang BINI.” And to that we say, they’re already there.

Gusto po talaga namin maging householdname na kahit sinong taong tanungin namin—kapitbahay man o artista ’yan—kilala na ang BINI
