MANILA — Russian vlogger Vitaly Zdorovetskiy has been transferred to the custody of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, according to the Bureau of Immigration.

BI Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado confirmed in a statement that Zdorovetskiy was transferred to the BJMP last June 11.

Zdorovetskiy is a content creator who went viral for his offensive prank videos.

The vlogger was arrested after videos of him harassing a security guard and passersby in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City went viral.

The videos also prompted the Bureau of Immigration to tag him as an “undesirable” foreign national.

Zdorovetskiy was apprehended in April following reports of immigration violations.

Viado said Zdorovetskiy will remain in the BJMP’s facility until the resolution of his court cases.

The BI also confirmed that Zdorovetskiy previously requested for temporary release under bail, but the agency emphasized that no such relief has been granted.

"This is not just a matter of administrative procedure—it is about protecting the integrity of our immigration laws,” said Viado.

Viado noted that Zdorovetskiy will be returned to the BI facility for his deportation.

“As we continue to support the Marcos administration’s push for stronger border security and law enforcement, the bureau will ensure that foreign violators are held accountable, processed swiftly, and removed from the country as warranted,” Viado said.
