Kim Tae Hee looked stunning in her cameo in K-drama 'Welcome to Samdal-Ri' Photos from Story J Company

Top Korean star Kim Tae Hee made a special appearance in the recently-concluded K-drama Welcome to Samdal-Ri, and she looks like she's aging backwards!

With her jaw-dropping beauty, she doesn't look like 43 years old at all! The ageless actress appeared in the last episode of the rom-com series that starred Ji Chang Wook and Shin Hye Sun.

In the 16-episode show, Kim Tae Hee portrayed herself, a top actress who is mentioned to have built a good working relationship with Shin Hye Sun's Cho Sam Dal, a famous Seoul-based photographer whose job is put on the line because of the workplace bullying or abuse-of-power allegations one of her assistants made against her.

Because of the issue, people have turned their backs on Cho Sam Dal, so she decides to leave Seoul to take a break and return to her hometown, Samdal-Ri, in Jeju Island. There, she and her childhood friend and ex-boyfriend, Ji Chang Wook's Cho Yong Pil (who's a weather forecaster at Jeju Island's Meteorological Administration), reconnect and rekindle their friendship and romantic relationship.

After recovering from the controversy, Cho Sam Dal pursues her photography career in Seoul again. In one of her shoots, the model backs out and they suddenly need a 'top-tier model' as replacement. Knowing that Kim Tae Hee has just returned from the US that day, Cho Sam Dal's ex-boyfriend, magazine editor Cheon Chung Gi (Han Eun Seong) suggests they try tapping her for the last-minute shoot. Though hesitant at first, Cho Sam Dal contacts her, but doesn't expect her to show up. But she did, and her cameo left many viewers in awe!

Kim Tae Hee arrives at the set, wearing a pastel blue coordinated jacket-and-skirt outfit from Self-Portrait, paired with Roger Vivier heels. For the shoot, she changes into a powdery blue strapless tulle dress with floral accents by Filipino-American fashion designer Monique Lhuillier (an outfit that Rosé of BLACKPINK also wore for a Tiffany & Co. photo shoot). Both outfits highlighted Kim Tae Hee's timeless beauty, stunning features, and youthful aura.

This special appearance is Kim Tae Hee's way of showing support for the show's scriptwriter, Kwon Hye Joo, whom she worked with in the 2020 K-drama Hi Bye, Mama. According to the production team of Welcome to Samdal-Ri, Kim Tae Hee wrapped up filming on December 18.

Welcome to Samdal-Ri aired its last episode on January 21. The finale episode, with its average nationwide rating of 12.3 percent, scored the highest viewership rating throughout the series' run.
