Double Olympic champion Carlos Yulo is back in winning form, qualifying for five apparatus finals at the 2025 Artistic Gymnastics Asian Championships (Men’s) in Jecheon, South Korea.

Yulo, competing in his first tournament since making history at the 2024 Paris Olympics, delivered a strong showing in the qualifications to secure a spot in the apparatus finals in Floor Exercise, Vault, Parallel Bars, Horizontal Bar, and Rings.

The Filipino star topped the Floor Exercise with a commanding 14.433.

He also ranked second in Vault with scores of 14.500 (first attempt) and 14.300 (second attempt) for a total average of 14.400

Other scores for Yulo where he qualified to the top 8 finals

• Parallel Bars: 14.167

• Horizontal Bar: 13.800

• Rings: 13.633

Yulo is set to compete in the finals for Floor Exercise and Rings on June 8.

He will then return on June 9 to vie for medals in Vault, Parallel Bars, and Horizontal Bar.
