British-Albanian singer-songwriter Dua Lipa and British actor Callum Turner, seemingly unfazed by their A-list status, ditched the glitz and paparazzi to enjoy a private dinner at Rockwell’s popular 12/10 restaurant—turning heads not just for their star power but for their refreshingly down-to-earth vibe.

In an era where celebrities are often seen with entourages and flashbulbs following their every step, it’s refreshing to hear about an A-list couple who opted for an intimate night out without all the fuss.

A couple of days before their arrival, a representative from their hotel arranged the reservation, but due to a miscommunication, the restaurant staff wasn’t briefed on the VIP guests attending that evening. This set the stage for what would turn out to be an unusually relaxed and private night.

A restaurant staff shared that when the nice and “good-looking couple” finally arrived, they walked in with no entourage, no bodyguards—just two tall, casually dressed individuals who, at first glance, didn’t immediately scream “celebrity.”

Callum sported a sleek, all-black look with a long-sleeved polo and dark denim, while Dua kept it understated with black trousers and a red handbag. Far from the bold, high-fashion outfits she’s known for, this casual look meant the staff had to double-check to confirm their identities. Earlier that day, the two were also spotted strolling around Intramuros in Manila.

Settling in quietly, they chose the restaurant’s Omakase menu, an 11-course experience that allows patrons to savor a variety of dishes curated by the chef. Both Dua and Callum enjoyed every bite, eagerly trying each course without dietary restrictions and even adding a few signature dishes to their order.

When asked for their clear favorites, the crispy, flavorful lamb spring roll, the delicate harumaki, and the beer-battered scallop—all of which they gave enthusiastic feedback on.

Although other diners began to notice them towards the end of their meal, Dua graciously declined a fan’s request for a photo, politely explaining, “Sorry, but we were hoping to have no photos tonight.” Her response spoke volumes about the duo’s desire to cherish their time together away from the public eye.

Dua, who has spoken openly about maintaining a balanced diet on tour, cut back on sugar for the night, sharing a single dessert with Callum. Yet, as a small token of appreciation, the restaurant sent them off with some packaged red bars, along with a heartfelt note thanking them for their visit.
