Loisa Andalio first captured our hearts as the bubbly Pinoy Big Brother housemate from Pasay. She eventually evolved into a promising actress, and soon she’ll be on the throne as her own queen. Indulge in her sweet beauty and dazzling acting chops by watching this Friday 5 video that collates her best scenes from the pilot week of “Pira-Pirasong Paraiso,.”

Playing a con artist in the story, Loisa dons different personas with her character Baby’s adoptive parents Badong (EpyQuizon) and Osang (Sunshine Dizon), as well as Hilary (Elisse Joson) and Kano (Markus Paterson), who were both adopted by the couple as well. In the pilot week, they had a failed mission after Kano fatally shot the cop who caught them. The incident caused Baby to feel a pinch of guilt, which she angrily unleashed on Kano.

In the next scene, she expressed her frustration by punching the walls at home. When caught by Osang, who told her to just leave if she’s tired of living the life of a crook, Baby all the more burst into tears and said that she couldn’t leave because she’s the only person who accompanies Osang to her dialysis.

In the scene above, Loisa’s tears flowed with just the right concoction and fierceness and fragility. Then she turned into a total softie when she hugged Osang, who gave her money in exchange for her disappearance. Of course, Baby didn’t leave because she didn’t want to. Besides, she’s an asset to their team.

Matched by the esteemed talent of Charlie Dizon, Loisa’s acting was perfectly delivered during Diana (Charlie) and Baby’s conversation after the bracelet which is believed to be of Diana’s sister Amy was recovered from Baby. Here, Loisa didn’t utter a word. But the look in her eyes and even the manner she sighed spoke volumes of empathy, and reluctance.

She also brought out her best in a quiet confrontation with Badong inside the police mobile when she asked if the bracelet really belongs to her. When she found out that Badong orchestrated the turn of events, Baby wanted to back out from the mission. She didn’t want to be involved in scheming Diana, obviously drawn to the woman’s pain.

There was never a second Loisa’s portrayal lacked luster. She would shine even in her quiet moments, even when she doesn’t speak. Recall the scene where they saw the positive DNA result, and be mesmerized by how Loisa expressed shock and apprehension just through her eyes. Her ability to cry right on cue is one of her greatest weapons, too.

Don’t miss an episode of Pira-Pirasong Paraiso, Monday to Friday at 3 pm, and every Saturday at 2:30 pm, on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, TV5, and A2Z.
