Recognizing the important role citizens play in safeguarding the votes of the Filipino people, young volunteers trooped to the command center of the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) in Sampaloc, Manila, on May 14, 2025, as election returns (ERs) arrived from across the country.

Volunteers are tasked with verifying printed election returns against the data reflected on their respective screens. 

The numbers represent results transmitted from different parts of the country. Any inconsistencies between the two copies are flagged and reviewed by PPCRV trustees.

The volunteers recognize the important role they play in safeguarding the votes of the Filipino people. For Shan Bautista, it is like planting seeds for the younger generation to nurture—seeds that would grow into a movement for good governance, ensuring a better Philippines.
