MANILA — Hours after the partial unofficial results of the 2025 midterm elections came out, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. acknowledged on Tuesday the defeat of some Senate bets he endorsed under the Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas.

Based on the partial unofficial results aggregated from COMELEC data as of May 13, 12:46PM from 97.2% of election returns, only five Alyansa senatorial candidates made it to the top 12.

Marcos urged newly-elected leaders, regardless of party or coalition, to work with the administration towards an “honest government.”
