Capas, Tarlac Regional Trial Court Branch 66 presiding judge Ronald Haban signed the order dated November 29, 2024 and was released to media by Comelec on Monday, December 2.

The case against Guo stemmed from the material misrepresentation complaint filed by the Commission on Elections in October.

According to Comelec, Guo “willfully and unlawfully” committed material misrepresentation by filing her certificate of candidacy for Bamban mayor for the May 2022 elections “when in truth and in fact, she is a Chinese citizen and a resident of Fujian, China.”
