MANILA — Two low pressure areas formed around the country at 8 a.m. this Sunday, state weather agency PAGASA said.

The first LPA is inside the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR), located 440 kilometers east of Casiguran, Aurora.

It has low chance of developing into a tropical cyclone in the next 24 hours.

The second LPA is outside the PAR located 2,145 kilometers east of Eastern Visayas.

It has a moderate chance of developing into a cyclone.

Meanwhile, much of the country may experience cloudy weather with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon or habagat, PAGASA said.
