The vog — for volcanic smog — from Taal Volcano causes poor visibility in the towns of Mabini and Bauan in Batangas as taken from Janao Bay in San Jose, Mabini on Monday. Six Batangas towns near Taal have declared the suspension of in-person classes and have shifted to modular or online distance learning as thick volcanic smog was observed starting Sunday.

Residents were also advised to wear face mask as protection as the volcanic smog.
