Heavy hailstorms that lasted around 2 hours covered vegetable gardens in Barangay Madaymen in Kibungan, Benguet for two consecutive days on March 27 until 29, 2024. The hailstorm caused heavy damage to highland vegetable crops such as strawberries, potatoes, and cabbage. Farmers affected by the hailstorm appeal for help from both the government and the private sector.
