Some parts of Toledo City, Cebu experienced flash floods due to intermittent rains beginning Sunday afternoon.

Residents who were shopping for New Year's Eve dinner were stranded in barangays Tubod and Poblacion.

No injuries were reported and no evacuation operations were carried out at the time this story was posted.

State weather bureau PAGASA earlier said that the tail end of a cold front will cause scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms in the Visayas and Bicol regions.
