MANILA - President Rodrigo Duterte will distribute land titles to 13,000 agrarian reform beneficiaries in General Santos City on Thursday, Malacañang said Tuesday.

Certificates of land ownership award covering 24,000 hectares of privately-acquired lands will be distributed by President Duterte, his spokesman Salvador Panelo said.

The President will be accompanied by Agrarian Reform Secretary John Castriciones on Thursday.

Panelo said Castriciones also discussed the implementing rules and regulations of Executive Order No. 75 during the Cabinet meeting Monday night.

Signed by the President last Feb. 15, EO 75 orders government agencies and offices to identify lands owned by the government devoted to or suitable for agriculture for distribution to qualified beneficiaries.
