CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY - An alleged cohort of Australian pedophile Peter Scully - who created the controversial "Destruction of Daisy" sex and physical abuse videos - has been arrested in Barangay 18, this city Thursday.

The suspect, Ma. Dorothea Chia Chi, is believed to have conspired with Scully in recruiting children for cybersex activities.

Chi will be facing 4 counts of qualified trafficking charges and is currently detained at the city jail in Barangay Lumbia.

The National Bureau of Investigation earlier said Scully and his cohorts set up cybersex operations in southern Philippines, using offers of food and money to lure children into having sex with him and then selling the footage on the Internet.

Scully was arrested in the southern Philippine city of Malaybalay in 2015 after two teenage girls were found naked, chained in the bedroom of an apartment he rented.

An NBI official said the skeleton of a girl Scully allegedly killed in 2013, when she was 12, was dug up in February 2015 in the kitchen of an apartment he had rented in Surigao.

Since Scully started his operation in 2011, the NBI has already accounted for 11 victims.

Scully's girlfriend, Liezyl Margallo, 23, was arrested last month after it was learned that she had continued Scully's illegal business, and roamed around provinces to look for potential victims.

Other suspects who are facing child abuse and qualified trafficking charges over the "Daisy" abuse videos include Christian Rouche, Alexander Lao, Haniel Caetano de Oliveira and Marshall Ruskin.
