The 2025 Cannes Film Festival is over, but we're still not over the fashion statements on its red carpet and beyond.

The film festival in the beautiful French Riviera happened from May 13 to May 24, gathering directors, actors, producers, and influencers from across the globe to celebrate cinematic milestones.

The 12-day Cannes was a trending topic online, and celebrities graced our social media feeds with stunning fashion and travel snaps. But among them, these three young stars proved to be among the most buzzworthy.

Indian actress Anushka Sen, 22

Anushka Sen made her Cannes Film Festival debut, wearing a plum strapless, mermaid-cut, and satin gown with a big bow back detail that cascaded into a train. The intricately patterned gown by Duchess Kumari took 12 artisans 611 hours to complete.

On the Cannes red carpet, Anushka posed with her hands pressed together, namaste-style, and a Korean-inspired finger heart. The Indian actress, who’s a fan of K-dramas and K-pop, has established her presence in the Korean entertainment industry. Last year, she was appointed the Honorary Ambassador for Korean Tourism at the India-Korea Partnership Business Forum in Delhi. She also worked on her first Korean movie titled Asia.

Thai-British actress-singer Becky Armstrong, 22

Rebecca Patricia “Becky” Armstrong returned to the French Riviera for the 2025 Cannes Film Festival and made major fashion statements. The L’Oréal Paris muse took on the red carpet in a a three-toned asymmetrical gown with a slit and ruched detailing by Nicolas Jebran. She also shot campaigns for the beauty brand alongside fellow Thai actress Nychaa.

Becky debuted as an actress in 2020 with a stint in the Thai BL Series TharnType 2: 7 Years of Love. In 2022, she achieved breakthrough success with Thailand’s first GL series, Gap: The Series, in which she starred alongside Sarocha Chankimha, also known as Freen. Their pairing was then known as FreenBecky, and together, they won many awards that recognized their chemistry. Freen and Becky also starred in the Netflix movie Uranus 2324 and The Loyal Pin.

When Becky made her Cannes debut last year, Freen was there to mark the milestone with her.

Her achievements have led her to the global stage, as she made her debut at the Cannes Film Festival 2025. Celebrating her red carpet moment at Cannes, Nitanshi took to Instagram and shared, “Still taking it all in… Grateful, honoured, and so proud to represent a bit of India on this global stage.
