LAMINA, a curated lifestyle fair, opened with extravagance, paying homage to the intricate heritage of Filipino culture.

In collaboration with BAYO Atelier, the annual fashion show displayed a variety of style compositions woven into the cultural fabric through a three-day fashion fair. The first day began with Patis Tesoro and Francis Dravigny's elevated approach to the Filipiniana, reimagining the traditional craft into its modern form. It concluded with an inclusive presentation of pieces by Bea Policarpio and Anouck Tantoco.

The second day centered on mindful leadership and keynotes, featuring cross-sector panel discussions with industry experts on the circular economy. LAMINA's fashion and art event concluded its third day with live sketching and painting by Best Buddies Philippines. They also culminated with "Art Auction for A Cause." All proceeds from the auction were donated to the same organization.

The exhibition featuring Patis Tesoro and Francis Dravigny showcased profound pieces. From Francis’ carefully curated textiles transformed into outstanding masterpieces, to Patis’ unwavering commitment to preserving traditional garments and materials. Each design, when combined, reflects a deep-rooted connection to the artistry of the Philippines.

With BAYO Atelier, this collection became more than just clothing worn during the day. It embodies the spirit of Patis’ vision and BAYO Atelier’s dedication to slow, intentional fashion. Each piece is crafted with purpose, emphasizing the tactile experience of each fabric as it is stitched to feel like a warm hug. 

Art Couture

At the heart of the expressive couture collection lies an exploration of the intersection between visual art and fashion. It transforms imaginative garments and textiles into carefully constructed silhouettes. The pieces in the Art Couture section present fashion not merely as a subjective experience but as a conceptual lens–sculptural, iconic, and alive in the flowing movements of fabric.

Wearable Art that Amplifies Voices

Sculptor Anna Orlina’s pieces are born of fluidity, softness, and introspection–qualities that have shaped her journey and honored her father’s legacy. Her collection amplifies voices, often expressed through delicate gradients and intuitive glass forms. With Bayo Atelier supporting her vision, Anna’s artistry reinterprets couture into luminous glass sculptures–radiant, transformative, and brilliant design.

Harvest Creative CommUNITY Hub

Driven by dedication and rooted in personal stories, the artisans at the Harvest Creative CommUNITY Hub x Rising Sun Foundation showcase traditional craftsmanship infused with individual narratives. Together, they have brought to life a collection of bags crafted by persons deprived of liberty (PDLs). These traditionally knitted bags represent the transformative power of art, fostering connection, healing, and hope.
