Wedding bells were heard in the Parish of St. James The Great in Ayala Alabang Village as Claudia Barretto officially tied the knot with her long-time beau, Basti Lorenzo, after a love story of 10 years together.

Two families became one as they celebrated an intimate wedding on April 9, 2025.

Present at the serene yet sophisticated ceremony were Dennis Padilla, the father of the bride, and Marjorie Barretto, Claudia's mom. Sebastian, better known as Basti is one of the 12 children of Martin and Leah de Leon Lorenzo—a large, close-knit, business-oriented family. They are said to be in industries such as farming and sugar. One of his siblings is Mateo Lorenzo, who discreetly married actress Erich Gonzales in 2022.

Among the notable guests were Richard  Gomez and Lucy Torres-Gomez with their daughter Julianna, as well as siblings Hannah and Ella Pangilinan. 

The 25-year-old singer showcased a wedding day radiance like no other in her chosen gown, a stunningly tailored Rosa Clará design.

Styled by Liz Uy, founder of Stylized Studio, she donned a fitted off-shoulder Rosa Clara dress in a radiant ivory mikado material that draped into a lovely A-line shape. A long chapel veil, softly embroidered at the edge, flowed behind her and provided a romantic touch to the outfit. Basti, on the other hand, looked dapper in a cream-white classic silhouette Barong Tagalog. The wedding perfectly complemented the elegant white and green theme, with bridesmaids wearing moss green dresses and groomsmen in traditional Barong Tagalog attire.

Redefining simplicity, Claudia held a bunch of baby’s breath flowers in her hands for her walk down the aisle.

A few days after her sister's unexpected nuptials, content creator and entrepreneur Dani Barretto took to social media to express a heartfelt message for her sister, Claudia Barretto, and her newlywed husband, Basti Lorenzo.

“Dear Claudia and Basti, Congratulations on this incredible milestone, 10 years in the making. Your love, patience, and commitment have brought you to this moment, and it’s truly something to be celebrated,” Dani wrote.

“Don’t let anything or anyone dim the light of this moment. It’s your story, your love, and your forever beginning,” she added.
