The Philippines is home to 7,641 islands, but there’s one island I always find myself returning to: Boracay is my slice of paradise. Time and time again it has proven to be one of the most alluring destinations on the planet. Its powdery white sand, crystal waters, and vivid sunsets make it a top destination for sun-seekers from all over the world. I've visited Boracay three times this year, and each time, the island continues to captivate me with its charm.

On my most recent trip, I discovered Boracay’s best-kept jewel. A lush beachfront resort set in the most welcoming and relaxed atmosphere? Color us interested. Mövenpick Resort & Spa captures the essence of paradise by turning simple moments into extraordinary memories.

Mövenpick Resort & Spa BoracayThe adventure begins with a seamless land-sea hotel transfer from the Caticlan airport. Mövenpick Boracay has its own port and lounge where you can wait for a private boat to take you to Station Zero. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by an unobstructed panoramic view of Punta Bunga beach, shared only by three impressive Boracay properties.

Mövenpick spans 3,300 square meters and has 312 rooms and suites all charmingly decorated with cream walls, polished wood, and flashes of muted greens, apricots, and blues. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Boracay where you can still hear the birds sing and vibe out uninterrupted, this is it.

With seven restaurants and cafes, there’s more than enough to keep bellies happy in this part of the island. After all, calories don’t count on vacation! Breakfast with an array of international dishes is served at The Market. In the afternoon from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, guests can indulge during the daily Chocolate Hour at The Market. The 60-minute complementary sweet fix will satisfy those with a sweet tooth—a one-of-a-kind experience only in Mövenpick Boracay.

Brezza Ristorante offers casual Italian cuisine with pizzas made in an oven specially shipped from Naples, Italy. For Asian delights, head to Ssäm, and for the perfect merienda stop, make sure to drop by The Café. A personal favorite is the Sol Marina Beach Club where happy hour by the beach happens daily from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. On Fridays and Saturdays, the Beach Club transforms into Kalye Sol where you’ll find flavorful skewers, fish tacos, and other savory treats grilled to perfection. At Mövenpick, you can simply close your eyes, point something on the menu, and still be guaranteed a satisfying meal every time. It’s that good.

After your food crawl, save some space on your itinerary for mindful moments. Picture yourself enjoying the iconic Boracay skyline with a Sunset Paint & Sip session or treat yourself with a massage at the Sagay Spa. Inspired by the island’s heritage, the Sagay Regenerating Ritual incorporates essential oils and heat using Kasi shells with a hot stone method. A must-try when visiting Mövenpick.
