MaThon is back! Netflix just released the main trailer for Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings' upcoming movie, Sosyal Climbers.

Described as a rom-com with a (scammy) twist, Sosyal Climbers is about a financially struggling couple, Ray (Anthony Jennings) & Jessa (Maris Racal). After being mistaken for new residents of a posh neighborhood, they hatch a scheme to reverse their fortunes and finally taste the luxurious life they always dreamed of. Their charade to fool the upper class will test their skill, their charm, and ultimately, their love for each other.

"True love... fake lives?," Netflix teased.

Maris and Anthony's team-up soared through the series Can't Buy Me Love. The two were cast members in the Vice Ganda-starrer movie And the Breadwinner Is..., but Sosyal Climbers marks the debut movie of their loveteam, MaThon. The two currently star in the action-drama series Incognito.

Sosyal Climbers is directed by Jason Paul Laxamana. It was in March 2024 when news of Maris and Anthony starring in their first movie together made headlines after they posted a photo with Direk JP.

Sosyal Climbers drops February 27, only on Netflix.
