Traditional black tie is one of the highest forms of dressing for men. This dress code dates back to the late 19th century, when it originated as a less formal alternative to white-tie attire. How people dress in response to a black tie invitation might have changed, but the rules remain the same. The guidelines are fairly simple—traditional black tie means a black tuxedo, a black bow tie, a white tuxedo shirt, and black patent leather dress shoes.

At the ABS-CBN Ball, guests were encouraged to wear traditional black tie according to the Spring Formal theme. While many stood out in their creative, colored evening jackets and cream-colored suits, plenty of notable best-dressed men opted for traditional black tie.

Coco Martin looked dapper in his Suit It Up tuxedo. The Batang Quiapo actor exchanged his suave action star outfits for a stylish black tie attire. Dominic Roque is as handsome as ever in a custom tuxedo by Chynna Mammawal, while Rambo Nunez opted for a perfect suit from My Closet Manager.

Other standouts include Ben Wintle, Ogie Alcasid, Michael de Mesa, Benedix Ramos, and Chris Lopez (Moophs).
