“You know what, I think it depends on what my skin needs. For today, I did a skin analysis, and they told me to use products that are more caring for the pores. I think I will use this religiously (Pond’s UV Bright Sunscreen) first for now, but I really love to switch it up with this (Pond’s UV Hydrate) because this one has Hyaluron, which is good for hydrating the skin. Sometimes I have combination skin, so [minsan] I have dry spots–so this is good for hydration.”

Upon applying the sunscreen to our fingers, the viscosity is quite thick, denoting that it could leave a heavy or greasy feeling on the skin. However, when I applied it to the apples of my cheeks, it contradicted my expectations and smoothly blended without any difficulty. On top of that, it leaves a mattifying finish that makes my skin look fresh and supple, which is perfect for the humid climate of the Philippines.

Another amazing function I discovered with this product is that you can reapply it under makeup. Since the consistency is viscous, it didn’t disturb my makeup. Instead, it nourished my skin and made my foundation look freshly applied again.

Note that, since it’s a liquid sunscreen, it needs to be blended with your fingers to maximize its protection. So, expect a slight wear-off on our blush or bronzer pigments. Regardless, I didn’t see this as a significant issue because its advantageous effect remained abundant.
