MANILA — A Filipino couple's wedding has taken the internet by storm, charming K-pop fans with its unique theme inspired by the popular boy group SEVENTEEN.

Danielle and Jayson Labatorio, who consider themselves SEVENTEEN fans called Carats, celebrated their union on November 29, 2024, with an event that paid homage to their favorite group. 

What began as a subtle nod to SEVENTEEN's signature colors — rose quartz and serenity — soon evolved into a fully immersive theme, incorporating details from the group's iconic visuals and songs.  

“We initially planned for a simple color scheme,” Danielle shared in an interview. 

“But slowly, we incorporated elements like the Caratbong bouquet, a gown reflecting SEVENTEEN's aesthetics, and even a reception inspired by the 'Fallin’ Flower' music video,” she added referring to one of the group's Japanese songs.

Guests were welcomed into a dream-like setting, where hanging floral arrangements recreated the visuals from "Fallin' Flower." For their entrance, the couple danced to a remix of SEVENTEEN's "Clap," a performance that set the tone for a lively reception. 

Their wedding went viral on TikTok, garnering around 266,000 views and 59,000 likes.

Friends who attended fully embraced the theme, donning outfits in rose quartz and serenity, further elevating the event’s aesthetic.  

The couple hopes their wedding inspires others to embrace personal passions when planning special milestones. 

“It’s your day. Whether it’s K-pop or something else, push for what makes you happy,” Danielle said.
