Through the partnership, Puma hopes to tap into the 27-year-old singer's following to support its "Rewrite the Classics" program, which highlights franchises like Palermo and Speedcat.

"Rosé’s remarkable influence on music, fashion, and culture globally are such an inspiration. We are thrilled to embark on this journey with her, where she will play a diverse role, leveraging her knowledge and vision to help us redefine our classic space," said Puma chief product officer Maria Valdes in a statement.

Rosé joins a list of high-profile ambassadors for Puma, including Rihanna, A$AP Rocky and Dua Lipa.

"I am so excited to join the Puma family. I cannot wait for my fans to join my next chapter with Puma," Rosé said.

Earlier this week, Rosé announced she had signed with THEBLACKLABEL, the music company run by Blackpink's frequent producer Teddy Park, for her solo activities.

In an Instagram post, the "On the Ground" singer also teased fans that she was working on new music.

Other K-pop acts who have represented Puma include the phenomenal boy band BTS, NCT 127 and IVE.
