MANILA – Here’s sad news for players of “Ragnarok Journey” in the Philippines.
The servers of the the browser-based massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) will be closed on May 31, according to an announcement on the Ragnarok Journey Philippines Facebook page.
Players are encouraged to spend their “Ragnarok Journey” points by the end of the month or have them transferred to a Warpportal game of their choice.
“Dear players, it is with a heavy heart that we must announce the closure of the ‘Ragnarok Journey’ servers,” the post read. “Our adventure with this great community is coming to an end.”

“The servers will be closing on May 31st and all payment options have been turned off at this time,” it added.
Launched in the Philippines in 2017, “Ragnarok Journey” allowed players to experience the “Ragnarok” online game without the need to install a client.
