MANILA – Filipina flight attendant Edda Mae Morata, who is a huge fan of the American series “Riverdale,” got lucky when she learned that Cole Sprouse was in the same flight to Manila.

Sprouse, who plays Jughead Jones on the show, arrived in the Philippines on Wednesday.

He is scheduled to attend a pair of fan meet-and-greet events on Friday at SM Mall of Asia Music Hall and at Glorietta Activity Center.

Morata took to Instagram to post a photo and video of her encounter with Sprouse which has since gone viral.

She said: "My job has brought me to places I haven't been before. Never have I imagined that this job would lead me to you, too, Cole Sprouse. Welcome to Manila!"

Prior to posting their photo, Morata shared a picture of the school in Canada where "Riverdale" is being filmed.

It was in September last year when the local clothing brand Bench welcomed Sprouse to its growing family of international ambassadors.

Past international celebrity Bench endorsers include Taylor Lautner, Brooklyn Beckham, Lee Min-Ho, and Liam Hemsworth.

Prior to starring in the hit teen drama "Riverdale," Sprouse was the star of the Disney Channel series, "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody," opposite twin brother Dylan.
