Built on the promise to deliver handmade, traditional Italian pasta at affordable prices, Dal Moro Fresh Pasta To Go has been a crowd favorite for over a decade. And now they’re coming to the Philippines—a brick-and-mortar store will open soon at One Ayala Mall in Makati.

The fast-casual restaurant was founded in 2012 by Chef Gabriele Dal Moro, and specialized in authentic pasta dishes cooked in front of you, and served in handy to-go containers. First, you select your pasta, then your sauce, and finally extra toppings like chicken, bacon, mozzarella, green olives or mushrooms.

Dal Moro's pasta is famous in Venice Dal Moro Facebook account

There online menu lists six types of pasta: rigatoni, spaghetti, fusilli, gnocchi, fettuccine or linguine (don’t worry, there are samples on display so you know what the noodles look like). The pasta noodles are all egg-free.

Customize with your choice of sauce, from classic Americana, Fruitti di Mare and Nero di Seppia. Vegetarian options are pesto, Mamma Rosa, alla Norma, all Formaggi, and the cacio e pepe. For vegans, there’s the pomodoro, Napoletana, and Aglio Olio sauces. And the Bolognese and Chicken Alfredo are halal-friendly.

We predict Dal Moro is going to be as popular here in the Philippines as it is in Venice and all over the world. After all, how can anyone resist the comfort of carbs cooked fresh daily, and the delicious aroma of the sauces that will tease your nostrils as you enter the door? It’s almost like being invited to the home of a charming Italian nonna where she makes the most delightful homemade pastas you can imagine.
