New York Fashion Week has officially returned and with it are glimmers of its former glory. The runways are back and charging ahead with the latest styles of Spring 2024. Highlights of NYFW include textured tops and dresses, sharp tailoring, and mini skirts designed with a jolt of sophistication and chic optimism. From Peter Do’s debut at Helmut Lang to Ralph Lauren’s return to the runway, take a look at the gallery down below to see our favorite looks and runway shows from NYFW.

The Spring/Summer 2024 catwalk season is here. Stay tuned for highlights from London Fashion Week, Milan Fashion Week, and Paris Fashion Week here on Metro.Style.

Helmut Lang - Peter Do unveiled his first collection as the Creative Director of Helmut Lang with a buzzing Spring/Summer 2024 line-up. The designer grounded his vision in sharp tailoring and vibrant knits styled with ‘90s edge. Many are excited for this Peter Do-Helmut Lang era!

Ralph Lauren - Ralph Lauren’s return to New York Fashion Week was a cause for celebration. For the first time since 2019, the designer signaled his comeback with a show full of Ralph classics and contemporary looks. From painted denims, embroidered dresses, to sultry silks, romance is truly in the details.

Proenza Schouler - Punches of muted blues and sunny yellows filled the Proenza Schouler runway last week. Designers Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough played with new silhouettes, delicate embellishments, and a minimal color palette for their Spring/Summer 2024 collection.

Khaite - Backstage at the Khaite Spring/Summer 2024 runway presentation, Creative Director Catherine Holstein summed up her new collection with one word: ferocity. You can spot these looks from a mile away!

Sandy Liang - Sandy Liang’s S/S 2024 collection is so Sofia Coppola-coded. From the skirt on jeans combinations, belted skirts, to night gowns for partying, Sandy gets it. She doubled-down on the bows and silky bags as well. We’re expecting to see more of internet-favorite Sandy Liang next year.

Michael Kors - With the New York City skyline as its backdrop, Michael Kors presented a sea of looks in white, tan, gold, and blush accents. For Michael, easy summer dresses, lounge knit ensembles, and romantic lace separates are the star of Spring/Summer 2024.

Tory Burch - Tory Burch brings a surge of S/S 2024 looks that will ultimately free your mind. The designer played on the thought of wearing something effortless. Tory made use of textured tops and knit dresses as well as super-short minis to convey her message for Spring.

Gabriela Hearst - Gabriela Hearst’s departure from Chloé didn’t stop her from providing us lust-worthy looks for Spring/Summer 2024. For her namesake brand, Gabriela presented an array of elegant pantsuits, handmade cashmeres, and cocktail dresses. Later this month, she’ll show her final collection for Chloé in Paris.
