Angelina Jolie made a notable comeback at the 2024 Venice Film Festival for the premiere of her new biographical drama film, Maria, directed by Pablo Lorraín. Angelina has been making heads turn from the moment she arrived at the festival, in Saint Laurent and later in a Tamara Ralph gown that turned the carpet into a sea of flashing lights.

The film is based on the life of the American-Greek opera singer Maria Callas, who was known for her captivating voice and dramatic performances, establishing her as one of the most iconic opera singers of the 20th century. This biographical drama narrates the tragic story of her later years in Paris, honoring her life through memories, friends, and her singing. After the film concluded, the actress became emotional while receiving an eight-minute standing ovation.

- To start the day, the actress is a goddess as she arrives in Venice wearing a brown Saint Laurent chiffon dress with geometric stitching at the bodice, complemented by matching pumps and a pair of sunglasses. 

- For the ‘Maria’ photocall, Angelina chose another Saint Laurent dress featuring a column silhouette and a  Cartier brooch that was once owned by  Maria Callas,  as well as another pair of sunglasses. 

- At the film’s premiere, Angelina channeled old Hollywood glamour by wearing a Tamara Ralph draped gown with a fur stole exuding timeless sophistication.
