When it comes to teleserye theme songs that hit you right in the feels, Erik Santos’ voice always comes to mind. With his mesmerizing vocals and heartfelt delivery, he’s been the go-to singer for some of the most unforgettable TV drama soundtracks over the years, hence, his title "King of Teleserye Theme Songs." There’s something about his singing that makes a painful scene even more heart-wrenching and a kilig moment even more heart-fluttering.

In a fun Kapamilya Chat challenge, Erik was asked to test just how well he remembers his own teleserye tracks. Posters from shows he recorded themes for were flashed on screen, and Erik had to guess which song he delivered for each one, and gave a few live samples too.

First up was “Vietnam Rose,” and without missing a beat, Erik recalled singing "Magpahanggang Wakas" for the show. Next up was "Sana Maulit Muli," Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson's first-ever primetime project that gave us major kilig and heartbreak. Erik delivered "Say You'll Never Go," a sweeping ballad that perfectly matched the show’s themes of love and second chances.

“Nakakatuwa kasi hindi lang ako ang nakakarinig no’n,” he said when asked what he feels about his songs being part of the most iconic stories in the world of teleseryes. “Feeling ko kapag paulit-ulit mo siyang pine-play sa isang teleserye, parang ang dami kong nare-reach na mga tao. So in that way, talagang nakaka-inspire ako ng mga tao through the songs na kinakanta ko.” He added that being chosen to sing for teleseryes and films has always felt like a huge opportunity, and he’s deeply grateful.
